Chad Taylor

CHAD TAYLOR is the critically acclaimed drummer and percussionist for the Chicago Underground ensembles.  He has been featured in Modern drummer magazine, and has performed at festivals throughout Europe, South America, Asia and North America. Chad has played with a wide range of artist in both Chicago and New York.  Chad has a B.A. from the New School of Jazz where he studied with Joe Chambers, Yoron Israel, Pheeroan Aklaff and Lewis Nash. He has performed on over 50 recordings and has worked with such artist as Fred Anderson, Pharoah Sanders, Roscoe Mitchell, Iron and Wine, The Swell Season, Jim O'rourke, Sam Prekop, Charles Gayle, Derek Bailey, Jeff Parker, Marc Ribot, Malachi Favors, Henry Grimes, Harrison Bankhead and Cooper-Moore.
